The Training Lead will provide versatile leadership across learning projects within the Learning and Development environment. The role will lead and coordinate learning initiatives from initiation through delivery, while contributing specialist expertise in either instructional design and learning development or large-scale training facilitation. The incumbent will work across evolving projects, align multiple stakeholders and learning workstreams, and may progress into a lead role on larger, longer-term programmes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Learning and Development, Education, Human Resources, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Desirable:

• Formal certification in instructional design, learning development, facilitation or project management

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• Proven experience leading and coordinating learning-related projects from initiation through planning, execution and delivery
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing learning workstreams in complex, changing environments
• Experience designing learning strategies, shaping training solutions and contributing to end-to-end learning initiatives
• Strong specialist experience in at least one of the following areas: instructional design and learning development; or large-scale training facilitation and trainer management
• Hands-on experience using Articulate Storyline 360 to develop digital learning content

Desirable:

• Experience leading national or international training projects and larger implementation teams
• Experience operating across multiple learning disciplines and delivering learning programmes end-to-end
• Experience using Articulate Rise to create responsive digital learning content

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Essential:

• Strong project leadership, planning, coordination and delivery skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and workstreams while adapting to changing scope and requirements
• Sound understanding of learning strategy and the end-to-end learning lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360
• Capability in either instructional design and learning development or large-scale facilitation leadership
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of established instructional design methodologies and audience-centred learning principles
• Proficiency in Articulate Rise and other digital learning authoring tools
• Ability to translate learning designs into practical materials and digital learning assets
• Experience overseeing trainers and training delivery teams
