So many organisations are really unsure what a programme is.  They don’t know when one should be created; they are unclear as to how the management disciplines differ between a programme manager and project manager.  They are not even sure if it really matters.  But it does…

This talk explores the consequences of confusing projects with programmes, what to do when it happens… and opens up the debate around when to move from multi-project management to the management of a portfolio, because these three ‘p’s of project programme and portfolio are deeply linked and distinctly different.
